Time to repeal Republican lawmakers’ taxpayer-subsidized health insurance?

Why do Republican politicians (with the exception of 16 House Republicans) feel entitled to have their health insurance paid for in part by the 50 million uninsured Americans for whom they’re working so hard to deny access to affordable health coverage?

Maybe it’s time to take away these perks from the GOP lawmakers and force them to pay for their own health insurance out-of-pocket. Afterall, these lawmakers can afford the annual $5,000 (individual) to $15,000 (family) insurance policies out of their six-figure salaries. Maybe some of them have pre-existing conditions that would preclude them from ever getting coverage if they successfully repeal the health care law. Maybe then they would realize that health care reform is needed.
